At least 27 people were killed in air strikes launched by the Syrian government forces on areas in central of Jisr al Shughour city in Idlib province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Sunday.

The air raids come after the opposition fighters seized large swaths of the city.

The Syrian regime aircraft staged several air strikes on areas in Al Ghab plain in western Hama countryside, according to the SOHR.
