At least 28 fighters of al-Qaeda terrorist splinter of Daesh were killed on Sunday in the Iraqi province of Anbar, an Iraqi official said.
Among the 28 were ten foreign fighters.
Also in Iraq, a military commander said the Iraqi army was gearing up for "completely liberating" the northern city of Tikrit from Daesh militants.
