As many as 282 Egyptians have returned from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, said Marsa Matrouh Security Director General Anani Hamouda.

In statements on Monday, Hamouda said 92 of the returnees had traveled illegally to Libya.

The security official ordered arrival procedures of the returnees to be swiftly finalized.
