As many as 29 Daesh fighters were killed in military operations conducted on Wednesday in the Iraqi provinces of Anbar and Diyala, security sources said.
Iraqi security forces, supported by Shiite tribal fighters, killed 15 fighters of the extremist group during an operation aimed at restoring some regions of Diyala, east of Baghdad.
Meantime, 14 Daesh militants were killed in an operation in Anbar province, west of Baghdad, the sources added.
