Marsa Matrouh Security Director General Anani Houmda said Sunday as many as 295 Egyptians returned from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours.
In statements on Sunday, Hamouda said as many as 216 of the returnees had traveled illegally to Libya.
The security official ordered the arrival measures of the returnees to be swiftly ended.
