Three explosive charges went off on Monday in a sanitary drainage line and transformers in the delta governorate of Sharqiya with no casualties reported.
Sharqiya governor Sameh al Kilani said the explosions occurred in Minya Al Qamh and Zagazig cities, adding two transformers gutted fire.
Bomb disposal experts and defense forces rushed to the scene to search for more bombs and put out the fire in the transformers.
