Three leading members of the terrorist Daesh group were killed Sunday in Iraq, said the ministry of defense.
In a statement, the ministry asserted that the army, supported by helicopters, managed to regain control over previously-seized areas in the Iraqi city of Samarra.
It said that 80 terrorists were injured, four vehicles and two hotbeds were destroyed.
