Third Field Army troops in cooperation with police have seized a large storehouse of arms and ammunition belonging to terrorists at Nakhl district in Central Sinai.

The operation comes as part of efforts exerted by the Armed Forces to comb and raid the areas where terrorist hideouts are found upon confirmed intelligence reports.

Army Spokesman Brigadier General Mohammad Samir said two RPGs, 18 rockets, anti-aircraft gun, 56 of the gun shots, two bullet magazines and others weaponry were found in the cache.

The seized weapons were referred to specialized bodies to take all legal measures in this regard.
