At least three persons have been killed and others wounded in an attack in al Heswa area in western Aden.

A number of unidentified gunmen fired an RPG shell at a car that was passing in Heswa area Tuesday night.

Eyewitnesses told Aden Al Ghad newspaper that the car was completely destroyed and a number of its occupants were wounded.

Earlier in the week, Col. Abdel Hakim al Senidi was assassinated when unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire at him.

An element of the popular resistance was killed on Sunday in the very same way. The Yemeni authorities then banned motorcycles.
