Minister of Environment Khaled Fahmy issued directives to the authorities concerned to swiftly deal with the fire that broke out Sunday in the Attaba district Rowbiki and spread over 10,000 square meters due to the strength of wind.
Head of the administrative agency for dealing with waste at the ministry Yehya Abdallah said the ministry sent three loaders to deal with the fire.
The Cairo Chamber of Commerce had formed a committee to follow up the consequences of the fire.
The committee will sort the number of people harmed by the blaze, said deputy chairman of the chamber Aly Shoukry in a statement Tuesday.
