The Egyptian Army early Thursday foiled a terrorist attempt to attack a mobile security ambush in Sheikh Zuwied city in North Sinai, Military Spokesman Mohamed Samir announced.

Three terrorists on a motorcycle fired at the ambush with machine guns and tried to flee, the spokesman said, clarifying that the three elements were killed at the scene and their arms seized.
