Beirut - KUNA
Three individuals have been injured after fighting with the Lebanese Army near Wadi Hamyed, The Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported on Monday.
The group of men gathered near an Army check point in the region protesting the newly-adopted security measures in Arsal outskirts and its surroundings.
The Army tried to disperse the crowd, but they wouldn't comply, which developed into a fight between the Army and protesters, the agency added.
Arsal, bordering Syria, has been witnessing fierce military confrontations between the Lebanese army and Syrian armed groups since the outbreak of conflict in 2012.
