Blast near Alexandria hospital

A young man has been killed and two others have been injured in a blast near a hospital in western Alexandria.
A bomb went off near Mabarat el Asafra Hospital in the early hours of Tuesday, a security source said.
Ashraf Abdel Aziz, 26, died of wounds a few hours after he was admitted to hospital, the source said.
Ambulances moved the victims to Alexandria University Hospital, said Dr Ayman Abdel Men'em, first undersecretary of health in the Mediterranean city.
Meanwhile, a number of persons set the Alexandria tram in el Wardian area ablaze, but no casualties were reported.
Wagons were completely destroyed as the tram stopped in Seneya Square in el Wardian area.
Passengers could jump out of the tram.
Assistant Interior Minister in Alexandria Major General Amin Ezz el Din said a person hurled Molotov cocktails at one wagon of the tram.
Atef M. M., 26, was arrested for setting the wagon ablaze, Ezz el Din said.
He admitted he belongs to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group and that he had received orders from MB leaders to set the tram ablaze with the aim to frighten citizens and cause damage to public property.
