Three police personnel were killed and two others injured during a fire exchange with criminals during a security campaign in Minya.
A security campaign carried out in the city targeted a criminal hideout in Damshu village. The criminals opened fire as the forces approached the place, leaving the three non-commissioned police officers dead and two more injured, an Interior Ministry spokesman said in a statement on Saturday.
