Egypt Post has decided to participate in distributing 300 blankets for free on some villages in Upper Egypt.
The blankets are a donation from some citizens to Assiut, Sohag and Qena residents.
The authority's initiative aims at facing the cold wave hitting the country, Head of Egypt Post Khaled Negm said in statements Saturday.
