Matrouh Security Director General al Anani Hamouda said 30,445 Egyptians returned from Libya via Salloum crossing since the start of the spiral of violence in Libya and till present.
In statements on Wednesday, Hamouda said the crossing received 300 Egyptians over the past 24 hours.
Hamouda also said he ordered the crossing authorities to swiftly finish their arrival procedures.
He noted that 80 of them traveled illegally to Libya.
