At least 305 Libyan commandos have been killed since the uprising that toppled Muammar Gaddafi in 2011, the spokesman for the unit told MENA on Friday.
He said 1,070 commandos have been wounded since 2011, adding 370 were injured during the uprising and 700 more in post-Gaddafi violence.
Libya has been in a state of flux since the 2011 uprising, with disparate tribes, militias and political factions fighting for power.
