Some 3,107 Egyptians returned home from Libya via Salloum border crossing, said Matrouh security chief Annani Mahmoud.
More Egyptians have been crossing the terminal after the air raid carried out by the Egyptian Air Forces against Daesh positions in Libya, he said in statements late on Saturday.
The Egyptian army hit last week the positions of Daesh following their beheading of 21 Copts.
