Assistant Interior Minister Major General Hisham Lotfi said that 324 Egyptians returned home coming from Libya via Salloum border crossing over the past 24 hours.

In statements on Wednesday, the Marsa Matrouh security chief added that of the 324 Egyptians, 260 had entered Libya legally, while the remaining 64 entered illegally.

He added that 532 persons, including 197 Egyptians and 335 Libyans, passed into Libya through the Salloum crossing.
