The Egyptian-Saudi airlift continues to transport pilgrims to the kingdom, the executive chairman of the Egyptian pilgrimage mission said.

In statements to MENA on Saturday, Sayyed Maher said a total of 32,510 Egyptian pilgrims have arrived so far in the kingdom.

Meanwhile, torrential rains still hit Madina Munawara for the second straight day.

This stormy weather caused a crane collapse on Friday in the Muslim holy city of Mecca.

Some 107 people were killed and 238 injured.
