Minya - MENA
Menya prosecution Monday remanded in custody 34 suspects for four days pending investigations over involvement in clashes between Muslims and Coptic Christians in al Galaa village, Samalout.
Four others were released.
Nine Muslims and Christians were injured in the clashes.
The clashes took place after a road accident between a microbus carrying Coptic Christian girls and a motorcycle of a Muslim.
The microbus driver thought the motorcyclist was flirting a girl on the microbus, which resulted in clashes between the two sides.
