Aswan - Arab Today
Aswan Governor Magdy Hegazi decided to allocate a tourist ship to bring home 347 Sudanese who were stranded at Abu Simbel City at the expense of the governorate.
In statements on Tuesday, Abu Simbel City Chairman Mohamed el Anwar said the Sudanese nationals crossed the borders from Sudan via the international land road at Qustol-Eshkit crossing in southern Abu Simbel.
He said the move is an initiative from Aswan governorate to settle the problem of the stranded Sudanese in view of the Nubians blocking of Aswan/Abu Simbel road to demand land rights.
