One Yemeni was killed and 37 people were injured in two blasts in Sanaa.
The first explosion took place in front of a mosque in Bani Mansur, al Haymah al Kharijiyah area in Sanaa, leaving behind one person killed and two others injured, a security source said.
On Monday, a car bomb blast ripped through al Siyah district in Sanaa, leaving behind 35 people injured, the source added.
The booby-trapped car was parked near a house in the area. Several nearby houses and cars were damaged, the source added.
In statements to the Houthi-controlled news agency Sabaa, the source said the injured were rushed to hospitals and people were notified to report any strange or dubious body or car.
Meanwhile, a Yemeni security source said three al Qaeda elements were killed in central Yemen when an explosive belt they were holding while driving their motorbike went off.
