The Zagazig Criminal court sentenced during a session on Sunday 39 elements of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) to jail sentences ranging from five to three years and life imprisonment in five cases of violence in Sharqiya governorate. Twenty others were been acquitted.

Thirteen elements received life imprisonment sentences while one person received a five-year rigorous sentence.

They had been referred to the criminal court on charges of violating protest law, possessing arms and fireworks, resisting authorities and sabotaging public establishments.
