A total of four people have died of sunstroke so far in Aswan since a heatwave hit Egypt, a senior health official said on Friday.

In statements, head of Health Department in Aswan Ihab Hanafy denied reports that 13 people have died in a village in the governorate during August.

"No cases infected with epidemic diseases were identified in the village," he stressed.
