4 Egyptian fishermen to get EGP 2m after winning lawsuit in Greece

Manpower Ministry in cooperation with the labor representation office at the Egyptian Embassy in Athens, won a lawsuit for four Egyptian fishermen whereby they have been cashed euros 23,500 of their financial dues.

In statements on Tuesday, Manpower Minister Gamal Sorour said the lawsuit has been followed up by the representation office that filed a lawsuit in Athens against the owner of a fishing boat that has employed four Egyptian fishermen since 2011.

Each fisherman was cashed a total of 3,980 euros according to the judicial ruling after paying taxes and judicial expenses, he added.
