An attempt by four Ethiopians to infiltrate into Egypt via the Red Sea has been foiled, Aswan security chief said Friday.

Mohamed Mostafa said the incident occurred in Abu Simbel in the south of Aswan.

The infiltrators were referred to the prosecution for interrogation.
