As many as four persons were injured in two separate incidents in North Sinai province, security and medical sources said on Saturday.

Two out of the four persons were wounded when unidentified men opened fire at them in southern Rafah city of North Sinai province, the sources added.

The two injured persons were moved to Rafah Central Hospital for treatment.

In another incident, two other persons sustained medium injuries when their car overturned on the Arish-Rafah international road in North Sinai, according to security sources.
