Four Palestinians were arrested Monday for crossing the barbed wire fence between the Gaza Strip and Israel.

They were referred to the Shabak for interrogation, the Israeli media reported.

About 200 Palestinians have crossed the security fence surrounding the Gaza Strip since the beginning of 2015, according to Israeli media reports.

Infiltration from Gaza into Israel has increased over the past months with youth seeking job opportunities in light of the difficult economic conditions in the enclave.
