Libyan army forces freed on Thursday four people, including an Egyptian, who were held hostages by armed groups in Al Hawari district in western Benghazi city, according to a military source.
The released people are in good condition, he added.
The armed groups used the kidnappers as human shields for blocking advance of army forces towards the district.
