Four people were wounded when a house and a number of nearby shops caught fire in Al Azhar district downtown Cairo on Sunday, the Health Ministry said.

One of the wounded sustained a foot fracture and the other eye wounds.

The two others were treated on the spot and were not sent to hospital.

The reason of the fire has not been yet known.
