As many as 40 Daesh militants were killed Friday in an Iraqi airstrike that targeted a meeting of Daesh leaders on the western border with Syria.

The airstrike was conducted in coordination with the military intelligence, Iraq's Interior Ministry spokesman Saad Ma'an said.
