As many as 416 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, Matrouh Police Chief Maj. Gen. Hisham Lotfy said on Friday.

Of the 416 Egyptians, 365 had entered Egypt legally, while the remaining 51 entered illegally, Lotfy said.

He added that 612 persons, including 250 Egyptians and 362 Libyans, have finalized procedures to cross into Libya through the Salloum crossing.
