Up to 42 Jordanians were injured on Thursday in a road accident in Ma'an city after performing Umrah, the smaller pilgrimage, in Saudi Arabia.

The accident occurred after the front tire of the 52-passenger bus blew up.

The injured were carried to hospital for treatment.
