Alexandria security bodies have arrested 42 elements of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group in a security raid in Montaza district in Alexandria.
They were accused of staging unlicensed protests, blocking roads, intimidating citizens and propagating the MB ideology that aims to suspend the constitution and prevent state institutions from carrying out their duties.
They were nabbed with Molotov cocktails, chemical materials, a rifle, fireworks and anti-army and police leaflets in their possession.
The prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
