Prisoners' and Released Prisoners' Affairs Authority said 420 Palestinian children were detained as part of the systematic and constant Israeli arrests.
Head of the authority Issa Karake warned of the danger of the Israeli proposed laws to arrest and try 12-year old children and lift the immunity off imprisoned children.
The Israeli government is launching the biggest detention campaign against children in years, he said.
As many as 1,200 children were detained since October, Karake said.
