As many as 431 Egyptians returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, said Marsa Matrouh Security chief Mokhtar el Senbary.
About 120 empty trucks arrived from Libya.
Out of all the returnees, 326 Egyptians came back legally, while 105 returned illegally, he noted in statements on Wednesday.
Travel procedures for 910 people, including 275 Egyptians and 635 Libyans, have been finalized, Senbary added.
The departure procedures of 73 trucks loaded with goods, foodstuff and marble have been also finalized.
