The 46th session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers will begin on Thursday at the headquarters of the Arab League (AL) in Cairo.
The session, to be chaired by the UAE, would also be attended by Arab media bodies' chairmen and representatives of Arab news agencies.
Speaking to reporters, Head of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers Abdullah Al Jasser said that the council has outlined draft resolutions and proposals that will be discussed at the Arab information ministers' session, including one submitted by the UAE to discuss the Arab media role in spreading the values of tolerance and the fight against extremism.
