47 people arrested over border infiltration bid in Matrouh

Libya via Egypt's borders

As many as 47 people have been arrested by security authorities in Matrouh as they were trying to sneak into Libya via Egypt's borders.

All of the would-be infiltrators are from Egypt.

They have been referred to the prosecution.
