US warplanes launched 39 airstrikes against Daesh posts in Iraq over the past 24 hours, according to a US Central Command statement.
US forces conducted 29 strikes in the Iraqi city of Ramadi to shell scores of Daesh posts and destroy armored vehicles.
Airstrikes also hit Daesh rockets positions, armored vehicles and tactical units near the cities of Al Huwayjah, Habbaniyah, Sinjar and Tal Afar.
In Syria, US forces launched nine raids against Daesh near the cities of Al Hasakah, Ar Raqqah and Kobani. Several Daesh armored vehicles.
The strikes were conducted as part of Operation Inherent Resolve, the operation to eliminate the ISIL terrorist group and the threat they pose to Iraq, Syria and the wider international community.
The destruction of ISIL targets in Syria and Iraq further limits the group's ability to project terror and conduct operations.
