Matrouh Security Chief el Anany Hamouda underlined that 491 persons entered Libya via Salloum border crossing over the past 24 hours.

In statements on Saturday, Hamouda said that they included 66 Egyptians and 325 Libyans.

The security measures were beefed up in anticipation for any emergency cases that may take place in coordination with the armed forces and national security administration in Matrouh, he noted.
