Proceedings of the 49th committee on standardization of terminology and military concepts kicked off on Sunday under head of Palestine delegation Bassam Mahmoud.

The meeting, to run until December 24, discusses a study on the role of the Armed Forces in combating terrorism.

The symposium is of special importance as it is an opportunity to promote cooperation among the Arab armies, said head of Arab national security sector Khalil Ibrahim, adding that it is important to unify terms in order to promote Arab joint military action among the various Arab countries.
