The General Headquarters of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) announced Friday that five of its military personnel were killed while performing their national duty defending Saudi Arabia's southern borders, BNA reported.

The soldiers are: First Sergeant Mohammed Nabil Hamad, Sergeant Mohammed Hafedh Yunis, Sergeant Abdul-Qadir Hassan Al-Alas, Sergeant Hassan Eqbal Mohammed and Corporal Abdul- Moneim Ali Hussain.

The BDF General Headquarters offered condolences to families of the deceased

Earlier, 22 UAE soldiers were announced dead while taking part in Saudi-led operations in Yemen against Houthi militants.
