Five members of Daesh terrorist group were arrested in central Benghazi city, head of the criminal investigation department in Benghazi Mohammed Al Barghathi said on Friday.

In a press statement, he said they were nabbed in collaboration with Benghazi criminal investigation department and Libyan special forces' information unite.

A number of explosive devices and sticky bombs that were in the possession of the arrested were confiscated, he asserted.

They will be referred to the bodies concerned after finalizing the necessary procedures, Al Barghathi said.
