Sappers have managed to defuse five gas cylinders, which were ready for explosion on Giza railway.
Unidentified men put the cylinders near the wall of Sakiet Mekki metro station, causing panic among residents and passers-by.
Security forces rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area.
All legal measures have been taken.
