Five Huthis were killed during fierce clashes in eastern Ma'rib on Sunday, Sky News reported Sunday.

The clashes erupted in Ma'rib between the popular resistance, loyal to the legitimate governorate in exile, from one side and militias sided to Huthis and deposed president Ali Abduallah Saleh from the other side, said well-placed sources with the popular resistance.

Two members of popular resistance were injured in the clashes, the sources said.
