Security forces in Damietta, northern Egypt, managed to arrest five members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) with bird shots in their possession.

A security source said seven people including two policemen were wounded when the arrested fired shots at them, adding that one of the policemen succumbed to his wounds.

Legal measures were taken against the arrested while security measures were stepped up in the city.
