Five terrorists were killed in a shoot out with the army forces during a crackdown in North Sinai over the past three days, Said Military Spokesman Mohamed Samir.
He added that 78 suspects were arrested, and seven smuggling tunnels were destroyed.
Also, 11 machine guns, 500 rounds of live ammunition, nine grenades and four shells were seized.
