Prosecutors in Minya province ordered five people belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood to remand in custody for 15 days pending investigations into charges of rioting and possessing detailed plans for protests.
The suspects were arrested in Abu Qurqas township in possession of the plans which call for "restoring legitimacy" through protesting, cutting off railways, inciting hatred against the state, creating crises and besieging institutions.
