Sharqiya prosecutor ordered remanding 45 members of the blacklisted Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group for more 15 days pending investigations.
They are accused of joining a terrorist organization, inciting violence, blocking roads and vandalism.
They were arrested during pro-MB protests in Sharqiya province, north of Cairo.
